Life insurance is a low involvement i.e. unappealing product for an end buyer. Potential life insurance buyers often agree to listen to an insurance pitch not because they are keen on the purchase but because it is seen as an unavoidable activity.

Also, deeply connected with life insurance products is the life event of retirement. The starting point of an insurance sale is to calculate the funds requirement at retirement. The insurance advisor uses a retirement calculator to educate the would-be buyer.

However, the existing calculator of the company was boring and also had errors.

  • The retirement calculator was redone as on online game. The game was viewable on tablets and smartphones, in addition to desktops.
  • The logic has been tweaked to make the working of the calculator easier to understand. More scenarios have been included to work out the insurance requirements under any situation.
  • The game has very cool and innovative graphics. It uses a man and a woman characters and has animation.
